We are a 2nd generation family owned business started in 1978 by Garry Green. Garry has been in the termite and pest control business since 1958 in Columbia, TN then moved to Nashville in 1967. When starting Green’s Exterminating, Garry was in the field while his wife Patsy worked the office. They successfully built the business this way until their son Tim returned from Miami, FL and rejoined the business in February 1996 with his wife Flor de Liz. Tim became President in 2009 and Garry has semi-retired. Garry is still actively involved in the business and is still “Not an Office Person” as he works along-side eight other employees on a daily basis. His work ethics are incorporated in Green’s Exterminating to this day as he has stated:

What can homeowners do to reduce the risks from mosquitos?
- Eliminate mosquito larvae by removing all standing water at least once a week such as birdbaths, swimming pool covers, plastic wading pools and old containers.
- Cover trash containers to keep out rainwater. Drill holes in the bottom of these containers that must be left outdoors.
- Clean clogged roof gutters.
